At Last, the Dress

Should I bother with words? Probably not.

There it is, 9 yards of striped silk taffeta and 3 of the solid, 5 yards of fringe, a yard of beads and two of braid. And new shoes to boot. (heh heh.)

Compliments will be accepted at this website. :)

WOOHOO! (wolf whistling) PURRRRRRRRRRTEEEEEEEEEE! Gorgeous, all 20 yards of stuff and shoes and all.

Seriously, I am jealous of anyone who can sew.

At least two ladies stopped Jenny in my attendance to ask questions about her dress. "Mrs. Sherrill in Noblesville made this dress for me--it was just completed," was her reply. The dress is quite stunning. The front serves as an upper-crust crumb-catcher (sufficient for arresting even an entire bagel's fall).
